Apple gift card cancelled by apple

Hello yesterday i bought apple gift card from apple website the france store and it didn’t accept my apple pay at first then it accepted the credit card and it charged the exact amount of the gift and i received an email with the order number and it told me that i will also receive the facturation bill after two or three days from receiving the gift card i waited for two hours and when i got nothing i followed the link of the order to find “cancelled” but i still didn’t receive any update concerning why it was cancelled or even letting me know if i will get a refund i contacted apple support they didn’t offer any specific help or a helping solution i just wanna know will i get my money back or do i have to request a refund although i think it’s far fetched since they were the ones that cancelled the order not me please if anyone have gone through the same thing or know what procedure should i take let me know also it was on my ipad in apple legitimate site i can’t call the france support right now because im away from home on vacation
