How to properly set up Apple Music billing for Individual Subscriptions in Family Sharing

My daughter is the only one of us in the family group that has an Apple Music subscription. She has the individual one, registered under her Apple ID but it keeps billing my Apple ID instead and we can’t find a way to add a payment method to her Apple ID so she can pay for it. Is that even a thing or am I stuck paying for it since I’m the organizer for the family group? Thanks for the help 😬

In Family Sharing, the organizer pays for all purchases and subscriptions of other family members if Purchase Sharing is turned on.

Other members of the Family sharing group cannot add or use payment methods on their accounts for their purchases or subscriptions. This is explained clearly when setting up Family Sharing.

If purchase sharing is turned on, the family organizer pays for family

members' purchases and must have a valid payment method on file.

You can either turn off purchase sharing, which applies for everyone, and everybody will then need to pay for their own purchases.

Or have your daughter add funds to her Apple account or redeem gift cards onto it, and the system will use that balance automatically to pay for her Apple Music subscription before billing you.
