Maximum AirTags

I have hit the limit at 33 AirTags for one Apple ID, does anyone know how to add more? Other than AirPods being two because I’ve already programmed 33! Help!

I keep getting 'Cannot Connect this AirTag' message Trying to connect an AirTag for the first time. I have no other AirTags. I keep getting the message ‘Cannot connect this AirTag’ ..to add this AirTag open Find My and remove one or more AirTags or AirPods currently paired to your Apple ID. i have removed my one and only AirPods and have no other AirTags. My thought would be to use a second ID and set up Family Sharing with yourself, but I don't know if that would work if that is 32 total for any way in which an airtag is associated with your account.
