Hello All.
It used to be when working with png files in motion, you could update that file in your preferred image editor, and export it to the same destination - when going back to motion, that file would update and reflect those changes.
I am using Motion 5.7 and Affinity designer... and this function is no longer working. Is there a tricky button hidden somewhere that we must now engage?

I don't have Affinity Designer, but I have just tested using both Preview and Pixelmator Pro.
I added a png file to my Motion project, then made changes to the file and they were immediately visible inside Motion.

Hmmm... interesting.
I have saved the Motion file as a project folder... the update is not in the folder - which would make sense. However, it is in the correct folder from export.
The solution is to save to the M5 project folder.

You may want to select "Media", then control-click and choose Reveal in Finder.
Does the location match what you are expecting? Does the file you open in Finder have the modifications applied?
