IOS 17.3.1 issue SOS only
After upgrading my iPhone to 17.3.1 it’s now stuck in SOS only and I have no cell service. Restarting and reinserting the SIM card have no effect. Help!

i hope I’m the first person in the world to have the solution. Contact att have them delete and resend you a new eSIM. This was the solution that worked immediately. I assume it’s a new eSIM from their end, that’s what they told me. It’s actually an ATT issue due to their outage but somehow the iOS update made it worse.

There IS an outage, and I haven’t updated my phone yet so it’s not to blame bc I’ve been on SOS since 5am.
ATT - iPhone 14 with the latest Software on it. Now SOS mode.
But other family members with the same phone work... very strange
What should I do?

I updated my 12 pro max last night to 17.3.1 and just after that, this morning I have No Service displaying. I can't do anything with my handset if not on wifi.

Yesterday it was AT&T but today it’s the iOS update. I’m in SOS mode and the only phone that was updated.

I have a similar problem, my cell service shows correct, but once you login it disappears. I have tried everything I can including reset network. one of them works. please help!

Last night I had a pop up that said I didn’t have a SIM card then went into sos mode! Still in sos mode this morning, I havent updated my phone and I’m with Telus though.
