After upgrading my iPhone to 17.3.1 it’s now stuck in SOS only and I have no cell service. Restarting and reinserting the SIM card have no effect. Help!

i hope I’m the first person in the world to have the solution. Contact att have them delete and resend you a new eSIM. This was the solution that worked immediately. I assume it’s a new eSIM from their end, that’s what they told me. It’s actually an ATT issue due to their outage but somehow the iOS update made it worse.
Same issue here. Only have SOS after update to 17.3.1 last night. I do need my phone for work and I’m going on a business trip soon. So frustrating…
Same here. Upgraded my iPhone 15 to 17.3.1 and woke up to SOS mode only. I’m on AT&T.
I did update, my partner did not. I’m stuck in SOS, my partner is not. So not AT&T. Clearly an update issue. No fix works. What use is a phone if you can’t use it? Come on Apple! Respond!
It is not their issue google it and you will see there was a major issue for several carriers
This has nothing to do with 17.3.1 it has been out for weeks now
My phone is affected and it has not updated. Currently on 17.1.2
I am having the same issue ( At&T) . But my friend’s phone ( T-mobile ) is working ( IOS 17.3.1)
Upgrade to 17.3.1 immediately set my phone to sos. Have consumer cellular. Other phones without upgrade still working.
My husband stayed with 17.2.1 and is not having any issues today. Has anyone else noticed this?
Then how is my wife’s working fine and mine isn’t? My sister is also on AT&T, updated to the new iOS, and hers is fine. Really weird.
My wife hasn’t restarted her phone and I’ll instruct her not to. However, my sister updated last night and hers is working fine. She’s also on AT&T. Weird. It seems random.
