my iPhone half a SOS next to the battery and I am not able to remove it. I have Internet service inside my home and I can browsing the Internet but I cannot do call text message or use WhatsApp. I don’t have any kind of communication.

SOS means that your phone is working, but is not connected to your carrier’s network. It can only make emergency calls on other networks. You need to contact your carrier to resolve this. Here is guidance from Apple→If you see No Service, Searching, or SOS on your iPhone or iPad

Mine and my husbands 14 is in SOS and my daughters 12 is working fine. It’s nationwide
Me and my wife both have 15’s and hers is in sos and mine isn't. I wish people stop speculating. We are both on at&t same bill and all. Sometimes it just needs a reboot or something
It’s a nationwide outage affecting some, not all. Not sure of specifics as 2 of 5 phones on my same acct aren’t working

When I try that on my 14 or my husbands 14 it gives an error code stating to call AT&T. Unsure if it’s something they have to enable or what. 🧐
Check to see if phones went through the update.. the ones that didn’t !! Cancel the update

Sir, that still isn’t telling us why our phones are saying SOS. What is the reason? We pay for our services and saying sos isn’t helping. Especially for those of us that are traveling and having to use our devices for directions.
I am having the same issue, I think it’s AT&T issue. I was on a call and it dropped and went into SOS mode so now I’m freaking out. Called and they are experiencing high call volume so there’s that.
It’s a national outage guys. Google it, only iPhone 14s affected. Anything earlier is good. This is crazy. Hope my bill is also affected by this outrage. Can’t even call or text. What about people who work and rely on their phone
The same thing has happened to me. I see a lot of people posted this around 4 or 5 am? Was anyone able to fix the problem? I have tried the solutions offered by videos, it is reassuring that it isn't just my phone doing that today though. Id love an update if anyone has one.
My phone is also stuck in SOS mode since about 5am EST and I cannot make any phone calls. I have updated, restarted, and reset my phone. Nothing is working. I have an Iphone 12 and I use Cricket. Going to call Apple at 10am EST.
My work and personal phones are on esims and I have no cell service!

Can this be LEVELED UP??? My iPad is not in SOS mode and it has cell service! What is going on with these phones???
I just sat here for 1 hour trying to figure out if my child did this. Clearly it’s a world wide issue . Wtf is going on . I’m out and can’t even use my phone for directions only my ipad. My iPhone is AT&T , iPad is Verizon and works fine.
It’s not just iPhones my husband has android and his isn’t working either but my kids have iPhones older than mine and theirs or working with same service provider this is so frustrating. I have doctors school and so much more that contact my phone
