spinning wheel in call forwarding, unable to fix

I have tried everything, reset the phone, turned off airplane mode and other suggestions. I have spent all morning on this, I need a solution

Call Forwarding Hi, Call forwarding wont turn off. I have tried turning phone off & on, turning on airplane mode, turning off mobile, wifi etc and done a hard reset. Call forwarding stays on even when the button for turning on call forwarding has been pushed to the left. Not sure what else to do.

After 18.5 update on my iPhone SE, the call forwarding option would not load The toggle switch for call forwarding would not show on or off. Just got a spinning wheel. Consequently, none of the T-Mobile codes related to call forwarding would work. I received an error message for all the codes. I contacted Apple, Case ID: 102615*****. Contacted T-Moblle, ticket # 8833****. Went back and forth, each blaming the other. I was convinced the issue was with Apple because it occurred after the update. I spoke on the telephone with 2 different Senior Apple advisors. Both screen shared with my phone. While talking to the second Senior Advisor yesterday, he informed me he looked at his personal phone and call forwarding was spinning as well. He stated it was no big deal and informed me there was nothing more Apple could do. I went to YouTube today and discovered the article "How to Fix Call Forwarding Not Working on iPhone | Calls Not Forwarding After iOS 18 Update". I couldn't believe how easy the fix was: Settings - Cellular - Network Selection - Toggle the Automatic switch off and back on. After performing the fix, call forwarding showed the grey button. All the T-Mobile codes work fine. [Edited by Moderator]

Call forwarding fails on my iPhone 13 mini after iOS 18.4.1 update I used to use call forwarding everyday since the cell coverage at my house is not great. I set up a favorite that dials *72 and then my home phone. It has worked flawlessly for YEARS. Ever since the latest update, the call instantly fails. I can make other calls normally. I have tried restarting the phone several times. I even did a reset on the network settings. Still fails. The *73 to cancel forwarding works fine. I can't even manually dial the forwarding. The solution is to contact your cellular data provider that is their feature, not Apples.
