Strange WhatsApp calls on my iPhone

i had this issue too, and i did not have the update option when i checked my Whatsap version today. While reading description etc the update option popped up and when the app got updated the issue was gone. Hope y'all solved this issue by now.

I had the same right now. Iphone, updated to 2.24.4.74 and the issue is solved.

Problem solved with a latest update from App Store.

Update your whatsapp and hard reset your phone, that's how I solved it

issue fixed update released by whatsapp

I’m having exactly the same issue. My apps are up to date, my iPhone has the latest update and I’ve tried doing hard resets several times. Still seeing the same strange text/codes.

Any other recommendations or suggestions please?
