When I call out or I receive whatsup calls instead of time been in call I receive some characters Like letters and numbers?

i had this issue too, and i did not have the update option when i checked my Whatsap version today. While reading description etc the update option popped up and when the app got updated the issue was gone. Hope y'all solved this issue by now.
