Strange WhatsApp calls on my iPhone

like this. Below is my call log. I believe this is the issue the origional post was talking about.

I’m having exactly the same issue. My apps are up to date, my iPhone has the latest update and I’ve tried doing hard resets several times. Still seeing the same strange text/codes.

Any other recommendations or suggestions please?

Update your whatsapp and hard reset your phone, that's how I solved it

It’s the same thing happening to my whats app too and i deleted reset and it remains the same

i had this issue too, and i did not have the update option when i checked my Whatsap version today. While reading description etc the update option popped up and when the app got updated the issue was gone. Hope y'all solved this issue by now.

I’ve same issue. Getting weird alpha/numeric/symbols with every whatsapp call. Anyone knows a fix?

I had the same right now. Iphone, updated to 2.24.4.74 and the issue is solved.
