How does MacBook Pro fan noise with M2 or M3 chip compared to M1 chip? (NOT M1 Max)

Because fan noise bothers me, I had planned to buy a MacBook Pro with the M1 Pro chip. Testers reported the M1 Pro laptop was much less prone to run fans than the M1 Max laptop. Video creators said both laptops were plenty fast enough for video editing. Now the M2 and M3 MacBook Pro offer more memory -- but how is the fan noise?

If you've used the MacBook M1 Pro laptop (NOT the M1 Max) AND a comparable M2 or M3 MacBook Pro in comparable conditions, how did fan-on time and noise intensity compare?

(I'm replacing an older Mac laptop. Not interested in non-laptops or in Air machines.)

I would use your google search... to read what others have to say.
