Restoring iPad fresh factory reboot

I have an old iPad that needs to be restored or needs a factory reboot. It's no longer in DFU mode because it has been restarted. Help.

A factory reset is performed using a Windows PC (with iTunes for Windows installed) or a Mac computer (with iTunes or Finder - as appropriate for the installed version of macOS).
