My iPhone drops service and goes into SOS mode frequently

So I have Verizon and I got an Iphone 15 pro over christmas. I am having an issue where when I am on the bus or train or car in my city (I live in Chicago), my phone will drop service and go into SOS mode for about 15-20 seconds then return. It has even happened a few times when I am just walking faster than normal. I am fairly certain it has something to do with my Esim and if I move faster than walking speed as it only usually happens when I use transportation, and it happens more on the bus, as the bus makes frequent stops and I noticed it happens more when I change speeds. I have found some people on reddit with similar issues but no fixes seemed to have been found. I stopped by the Verizon store and the person I spoke to also is having issues but with AT&T and other carriers, and said they went to the apple store and seemingly other carriers have an issue too and all with the Iphone 15. For possible fixes I have tried I have reset my network settings, turned my cellular line on and off, and yes I am on the most up to date software. I have done everything minus a full restore from back up, which I most likely wont do as the people on reddit with the same issue I have claimed it did not work and that takes up far too much time. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so are there any known fixes? Is this an IOS problem or a carrier problem? Is apple aware??? It is not the biggest issue but it is very annoying as I use public transit pretty much every day, and this issue has been persisting for almost two months, and the few software updates haven't seemed to address the issue.

Yesterday, was a huge outage for cell service across the Globe. No one knows why. Today the news is hush about it. I have 4 lines and only one went into SOS. It’s Friday, 2/23/24 and it’s still in SOS, even though they said it’s been resolved. I will stop by AT&T store and request them to get it out of SOS. If they can’t, I believe there’s something really bad that happened, or is happening.

Same problem but in Alabama. My husband and I both upgraded from 14 pro max to 15 pro max several months ago as we switched from At& t to Verizon. I’ve tried everything including switching my ESIM after a 2.5 hour visit at Verizon store. Ours seem to do it at home when we slow down and we have people tell us our phones go straight to voicemail at times but we never see a missed call or get the messages. Ours will go into SOS for 10 to 30 minutes. We’ve had to leave home in order to get service at times. Verizon also charged us for the new ESIm and tech support calls. I opened a dispute due to the issue and never heard back. Very disappointing because we had At & t for years with no problems other than the billing. Now we have higher bills and less service. Will not sign another contract when this one is up!
