Singing into iCloud and Apple.com prompts different OLD APPLE ID, not new one

I recently changed my apple ID to a new email. It has proven to be a big headache.

Whenever log into iCloud or Apple.com (this website) using the passkey feature, a prompt comes up and asks, "Do you want to sign in with you apple ID passkey for 'oldappleid@gmail.com'". Obviously it should be displaying newappleid@gmail.com instead. In my iPhone, it shows at every turn that my apple id is newappleid@gmail.com.

It should be noted that this DOESN'T PREVENT ME FROM LOGGING IN. Whenever I do log in, I type newappleid@gmail.com in, press the sign in with passkey option, do the face id with the prompt for oldappleid@gmail.com, and it still signs me in. This leads me to believe that it's a visual bug on my iPhone and it's just not visually changing the apple id in this prompt. The rest of my iPhone shows that my apple ID has been changed and I've only had small issues like having to sign into my apple wallet again.

How would I go about fixing this? Is this just a case of some software bug? Or is this something that is going to lead to more issues in the future.

While this is a minor complaint and doesn't prevent functionality, its frustrating that my iPhone seems to want to refuse that I changed my apple id and don't want anything to do with the old email associated with that apple id.
