iPhone prompt to use Apple ID passkey shows OLD APPLE ID

Some background, I recently change my apple ID email address to one that I use more frequently. For the most part it's been fine. However, it seems that there is one part of iOS that does NOT want to update my apple id and that's the prompt for using my passkey with Apple forums, Apple.com, and iCloud. Basically any website that used the apple id passkey.

What is happening is that whenever I scan the QR code with my phone to start to process of using my passkey, the visual prompt on my phone will ALWAYS show my old apple id with the old email.

I've read somewhere that it can take upwards of a month for certain apple applications/websites/services to fully update to the new apple id.

What is strange is that whenever I get this prompt and scan my Face ID and log in, the actual website itself will ALWAYS show the new Apple ID. Meaning that this is an issue specifically with that prompt. Nowhere else in my iPhone or my Mac does it show my old Apple ID/Email.
