I currently have iPhone 12 with Verizon Wireless pre-pay. Can I buy a new iPhone through Apple and keep my same number and plan with Verizon? I ask because the Apple cost is cheaper than the Verizon cost and Apple offers trade-ins.

If you are paying for the phone in full upfront you should be able to but you would have to buy it with the Connect to any carrier later option (you can’t choose Verizon because you have a prepaid account versus a postpaid). You can verify with Verizon Prepaid support that you can activate the new iPhone and keep the prepaid plan you have. Sometimes people may have a prepaid plan that can not be moved to a new device so you need to make sure before trying this.
