Can I have two phone payments for different iPhone models simultaneously?

I currently have a 128gb iPhone 16 pro I purchased November 2024. I am still paying it off. I was wondering if I could just purchase a new phone and have two phone payments going on at the same time. I would like to keep this one but would I have to pay off the iPhone 16 before I purchase the 17 pro?

Who are you paying the 16 Pro to?

If you bought it from Apple using the Apple Card Monthly Installments, then as long as your credit limit is sufficient, you should be able to get the new one on monthly installments too.

Yes, you will have to then pay for both at the same time though.

If you bought the 16 Pro from someone other than Apple and plan to buy the 17 Pro from them too, then you would need to ask them or your credit card company wether a second purchase can be made.
