How do I increase the font size in Console?

I have difficulty reading small font sizes. I've adjust my font size in Accessibility, but it doesn't seem to affect the Console application.

How do I increase the font size in the Console app on Sonoma MacOS?

Hi AppleBoy123,

Re: "How do I increase the font size in the Console app on Sonoma MacOS?"

The Console User Guide doesn't seem to have any info. at all on a change of font-size:

You may want to use the Zoom feature:

Zoom in and out on what’s onscreen on Mac - Apple Support

or

With Hover Text on your Mac, you can just move the pointer over text on the screen to display a larger version of it: Eg: Use Hover Text on Mac - Apple Support says:

How to: "Turn on Hover Text

  1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, click Accessibility in the sidebar, then click Zoom on the right. (You may need to scroll down.)
  2. Turn on Hover Text."

Now when you "move the pointer over text on the screen,

you can press the Command key to display a larger version".

If you try hover text, and it works for you ... there's also a "Tip" in the Hover Text article above,

that gives you a quick way to have Hover text on automatically instead, (or turn it off) so you needn't press the Command key every time.

All the best :-)
