I just upgraded my iPhone and ported my number from T-Mobile to Verizon. I can send and receive iMessages and calls. However when I go to log into my gmail, Verizon account, or banking app they all send a verification code to my phone number but I do not receive them? I am assuming they are all SMS messages that aren’t working? In settings the correct phone number is there and MMS messaging is turned on.
Do you know anyone with an Android phone? Are they able to text you?

If it's been less than 24 hours since you ported the number, you might want to wait until 24 hours have passed before contacting Verizon.
