Facetime screen share not working on macbook pro m3.

I have Macbook Pro M3. The screen share feature on facetime is just not working. When i click on it, I get the option to choose the content to share, when i select screen and then the purple button of share this screen, nothing happens. Nothing is shared.

The update on my macbook is sonoma 14.2.1

How can this be resolved.

FaceTime screen sharing session keeps getting cancelled on Mac. This is a relatively strange issue, so when I select to share a Window or an app, the screen sharing icon temporarily appears, but then it cancels immediately after. My internet has triple digit speeds and my friend too. SharePlay is turned on. The weird thing is, after rebooting, it works the first faceTime call, but for subsequent calls, it stops working. Screenshare window doesn't work over FaceTime Hey everyone, I'm having an issues window sharing over FaceTime. When I'm on a FaceTime call, I click the top green box which allows me to choose whether I want to screenshare the entire screen or screenshare a specific window. Usually the window I want to share will highlight purple, and in the middle it'll say "Share this window". However, recently it hasn't been doing that. All it's been doing is highlighting the window purple and not allowing me to share the screen even if I click it. I was wondering if there is a fix to this. I've already tried restarting the device and have allowed screensharing in my privacy settings, but maybe I'm missing something. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!
