Safari Doesn’t Recognize Both Camera and Microphone

Hi, I’m having a problem with Safari recognizing my camera and microphone. I have to set up my Mac/Safari for a tele-health visit on a web portal, but when I run the test to make sure everything will go well on the day of my appointment, I keep getting 3 errors (on the web portal):

1). Camera not detected.

2). Microphone not detected.

3). Bandwidth- your internet connection does not appear suitable for TeleVisits.

There are 3 additional checks that all got green checks: Browser; Speaker; Video Connection… all seem fine.

I did the following steps for troubleshooting on Safari but it still doesn’t work. It works on Chrome BTW, just not Safari, where all my passwords are saved.

1). I updated Safari to latest version

2). I went into Safari> setting> websites> camera/microphone> toggled both to “Allow”

3). I restarted computer several times

It’s still doesn’t work; the same error message, with the same 3 problems, is still occurring.

Like I said, it works just fine on Chrome but I would like to resolve the issue with Safari. My bandwidth is just fine, I pay for the best internet package on Spectrum. I’ve checked several times that my Safari settings have remained toggled to the “Allow” mode for the website, and they have. What do you think the problem might be?

Thank you in advance for any advice or direction you may have for me to resolve this!
