You can upgrade Early 2013 MBPs as far as Catalina. You can upgrade Late 2013 MBPs as far as Big Sur.

Which MacBook Pro model do you have?

It has to be at least an Early 2015 model, if you want to upgrade to macOS 12, Monterey

There is some confusion about exactly which Mac you're trying to upgrade.

The subject line of your original post says MacBook Pro but you don't specify the year.

In your first reply, though, you call it a Mac Pro, 2013.

These are two very different computers with potentially different upgrade possibilities.

Can you please clarify what is actually correct?

The macOS version you can upgrade to depends on the year your Mac was released.

Click the Apple menu () at the top of your screen and choose About This Mac.

It's not. Big Sur is the end of the line for your Mac. You can look At This MacWorld article to verify.
