Wallet and Apple Pay security when device going for repair

My iPad Pro is going in for a repair, so I will of course be backing everything up beforehand, but just want to know if there is anything specifically I should do about the payment info to do with Apple Pay and Wallet prior to the device going in for the repair? I can’t find anywhere that advises if I need to do anything, except one suggestion to ‘turn off’ cards using Find My. Grateful for any advice or tips.

iPad Pro, iPadOS 17

If you're backing it up (as you should) and you're concerned, why not just restore it to factory state before sending it in? As I recall, that's what Apple recommends when you send something in to them, especially as you may not be getting back the same device you sent in. Even if the third-party outfit sends you back the same one, why cause yourself added stress?

Credit and debit cards accessed through the Settings app on your iPad require Facial ID if they show full card information/details. The only cards that show full information is Apple Card Mastercard. All other cards only show the last 4 digits of the 16 digit card account. They do not show the full number, 3 digit CVV security code, expiration date or other information about the account.

If you do not have an Apple Card MasterCard you have 0 risk. But even if you do have an Apple Card MasterCard account, the information cannot be revealed if you use your Facial ID. So, you risk in having the iPad repaired is near zero.
