How to Transfer Voice Memos from my iPhone

Hello!

I have over 60 GB of voice memos, over 400 individual files, taking up storage space on my iPhone. After doing lots of research online, yes I could transfer each file individually but that would take ages due to the sheer volume of them. I have tried syncing my iPhone to iTunes and "checking" the sync voice memos box, but I can't find the folder that it supposedly saves to within my iTunes Music folder on my laptop. I have installed iCloud to my laptop and it says it's syncing but again, despite making sure my voice memos are part of my back up in iCloud, I don't see them.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm using an iPhone 13 with 256GB of storage space and a Windows PC.

iPhone 6s, iOS 11

Hello SusanBG,

To transfer a large number of voice memos from your iPhone to your Windows PC efficiently, you can use the following methods:

1. iCloud Sync:

- Ensure iCloud sync for Voice Memos is turned on your iPhone (Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > turn on Voice Memos).

- Once synced, access iCloud for Windows, and your voice memos should appear in the iCloud Drive folder under 'Voice Memos'.

2. iTunes File Sharing:

- Connect your iPhone to your computer and open iTunes.

- Select your device in iTunes and go to the "File Sharing" section.

- Select "Voice Memos" and you should see a list of your memos.

- From there, you can select all and drag/copy them to a folder on your PC.

Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes or iCloud for Windows installed to ensure compatibility. If you're having trouble finding the voice memos after syncing, check the 'iCloud Drive' folder on your PC, or consider using the search function to locate the files.
