How to replace 'iMovie' text with 'Final Cut Pro' or 'FCPX' in an iMovie trailer template credits?

iMovie trailer credits say 'iMovie' in two places. I would like to replace it with 'FCPX'. Is there an easy way to do this? I want it to look like this.

There's an even simpler way . . . get FCP X and use it!

Before you say you have no intention of paying for FCP X, read on . . .

There is a FREE 90 DAY TRIAL of FCP X with no strings attached. You don't give any personal details . . . just click the Download button and you have it for 90 days.

But what about the end of the 90 days? Well here's the kicker . . . whenever FCP X is updated you can download the new version and have another 90 days free!

I figured it out and it's very easy! Make sure iMovie isn't running then right-click on iMovie application icon and select Show Package Contents. Look for the file 'TrailerStrings.strings' at this path "/Applications/iMovie.app/Contents/Frameworks/Flexo.framework/Versions/A/Resources/en.lproj/TrailerStrings.strings". Open the file using BBEdit (Free to Use basic version from MacApp Store) and search for "production in association with". Before and after the text you will see 'iMove' and just change the text to "FCPX" or whatever you want and save the file then launch iMovie. There are two files with this name one in English and the other in Japanese.

I missed the point because you omitted to mention that you owned FCP.

Simply make your trailer in iMovie and import it into FCP.

You can then cut the iMovie credits and substitute the FCP "Trailer" title.

One problem with the FCP "Trailer" title is that there are only 4 rather insipid canned backgrounds but with Motion you can get rid of them to use anything of your choice.

I made such a plugin earlier today.

Every word on it is editable for colour, font, size, style etc. or removable.
