Numbers- How show A4 borders

Hello, in the work I usualy make tables in Excel. If I Chose files/print and cancel, Excel show another Dashed borders which they represent paper format A4(see on a picture). How I can show this border lines in Numbers? Thx

I can't see your attached image clearly but it looks very Excel-like. As you can see from the built-in templates at File > New in your menu Numbers typically does not use large tables. Smaller tables, often more than one on a sheet, are usually more efficient.


I believe Ian's helpful User Tip is the best approach available. If it doesn't work for you and you often need to do precise printing of large tables then Numbers may not be the best tool for you.

Hi Ian,

thx for your tip. I was try it, but if I have big Excel table I still don’t see where is formát A4. This format I see If I choose print. That is horryble every Edit and change size in this table I must see in print menu and back to the document make edits. I add foto from Numbers after if I tryed seetings from your tips. Any another tips? Antonin
