Is there anyway to unistall update 10.1 on my iwatch 8? I have to charge it 3 time in a 24 hour period. It gets hot while on charger.

I have Apple Care and I called Apple support. They ran a diagnostic and said everything was fine. I can't do low power as suggested. I need the watch to be quick to call emergency services in case I fall on the ice or ground when out walking (the main reason I bought it). I want Maps and location services. I also want it to monitor my heart rate. I have no third-party apps. and it still needs to be charged three times daily. I don't want to go to the store as I know they will suggest a new watch. I have had this one for a year and a half. The battery level is at 84%. I have it set so that I only get about three messages a day.

Even with my light use, it gets really hot when it is charged and I have to charge it as fully three times daily.

If the battery drains too fast after an update, see all the replies to:

FWIW, in some cases, unpairing the watch, completely erasing it, then pairing and restoring the backup will resolve the battery draining issue after an update. (Simply unpairing and pairing again may not work.)

Also, some people have found that simply waiting a few days after an update resolves the battery draining problem.

Getting really hot is an indication that the battery is about to die. If you have Apple Care, I would make an appointment at the Genius Bar in an Apple Store near you and see about a battery replacement.

Even if they suggest a new watch, you don't have to buy one.
