Faint horizontal lines across macbook air screen

A couple days ago I noticed that there were faint grey/black lines on my computer screen. My computer still works fine, and I did nothing to it, but it is getting annoying. I have tried resetting the SMC, NARAM, and when I ran diagnostics on it there were no issues. The weird thing is that while running the diagnostics the faint lines were not visible on the apple logo or other white parts of my screen but when my computer turned on again they were still there. Thats why I do not think it is an issue with my physical screen but I don't know what settings to try and fix.
