how to download heartrate data so i can anslyse it

I think there is a link between one of my meds and a high heart rate at night.

I want to produce a summary illustrating this for my next visit to the doctor. I only want certain hours of the day over a few months. But I need to count how many times the heart rate goes over a certain number. The summary analysis in the app makes it look as though there have been no changes because it only shows the maxima and minima

How can I export the data from my iPhone to my PC?

While you can certainly use the built-in export function, it will require a bit of work to slice and dice the data to meet your needs. It downloads EVERYTHING. I'd consider using one of the third-party apps that will allow you to choose what data to download. One I've used is called Heart Reports. In addition to generating nice PDFs, it allows you to export information to CSV. I'm sure there are other apps that are similar.

Thank you Faith for such a quick response. I did look for that option but couldn’t find it. Thought maybe the layout had changed since 2014. But finally spotted the photo of me in the top right hand corner and realised that was the profile! They’ve trained me very successfully to look for 3 dots or 4 dashes. The photo rather than a head and shoulders icon still fools me 🤣😊

Hello again - I tried the app but it summarises the data I want to analyse. I want to count occurrences by hour of a high heart rate and then see if the count increases with the meds.

So I’ve tried to export all the data, but when I open the zip file, I get a folder called Apple health export. When I open this, there are a folder, labelled electrocardiograms and two MS Edge HTML documents. One is called export.XML and the other export_cda.XML When I open the folder, I can see a list of electrocardiograms. One spreadsheet for each ECG. The two Microsoft Edge HTML documents are 277 MB and 173 MB respectively and it certainly looks as though something is there. However, I can’t open them. Do you have any thoughts or suggestions please?
