Problem MacBookPro 2010

Hello, I have a problem with my MacBookPro 2010.

When I put it on charge, the light is green and when I turn on the computer, it tells me that the battery is 100% charged. But as soon as I remove the charger, the computer shuts down as if it were discharged. The battery is almost new and I've just bought a new charger.

Does anyone have a solution for me, please?

Have a nice day and thanks in advance!

Reset the SMC (System Management Controller) of the laptop and see if that has any effect on the charging issue. The SMC is responsible for managing power on your Mac. Resetting it can resolve certain uncommon issues related to power management.

Guidance can be found here: Reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support
