Scarlett 4i4 Set Up with iPad

I can see the audio interface, but I can’t configure the tracks to use the two specific inputs on the front of the scarlet and the two inputs on the rear that I want to use for the drum machine. I’ve been using Cubasis 3 and it’s very straightforward on Audio routing.

1 track for vocals, 1 for guitar and then a combined stereo track for my beatbuddy.

Is there a video or instructions somewhere for this configuration?

The last selected audio interface is not available. The previously selected interface "Scarlett 2i2 USB" will be used instead for this session. Hi everyone! I use a Scarlett 2i2 USB audio interface for all of my projects and have done for years. Recently (not sure exactly when) upon opening projects I get the message in the attached screenshot. I obviously click 'OK' to use the Scarlett, but I'm wondering why Logic asks me this every time? It happens with all of my projects - new and existing. Thanks.

Will Garage Band for Mac Monterey record two separate tracks simultaneously from an audio interface like Focusurite 2i2? Focusrite 2i2 has two input channels, each with a preamp and controls. When connected to Garage Band for Mac, will Garage Band allow two new audio tracks to be created with each recording a single input from Focusrite 2i2 at the simultaneously? Example: Voice is into input 1, guitar is in input 2. Can those separate inputs also be separated to two tracks on GarageBands while playing through them at the same time? I know both inputs can be recorded to one track, but what about isolating what is going into the inputs onto two audio recording tracks to two recording tracks? Possible? If so, what buttons to push to get there?
