I recently added three generic tags into my find my app and they are doing a great job. I decided to buy more tags. Due to an unknown reason, the new tags are not able to be paired . I have already tried an iphone hard reset, logoff icloud, Bluetooth reset, tag reset, etc. It’s a iphone 14

Ok, but it would still help me if you can tell me the make/model of these generic tags. Most generic tags, that are MFi (Made of iPhone) - rated, do not support precision finding, nor necessarily work with Find My.
Sorry, but I couldn't find anything on the Internet about these tags ... so, I'm not sure how I can assist you with getting them to work with Find My.
Based on what you provided, the previous ones you had (I'm assuming that they are the same) worked, but the new ones do not. Apple allows up to 16 AirTags to be paired to one's Apple ID, not sure about non-AirTags as it could be the same or less. Regardless, if these are not working, I suggest that you return them for a full refund or replacements.
What exactly are these "generic" tags you are referring to? I'm assuming by your comments that these are not Apple AirTags ... correct?
