Apple Pay prevents preventing mbair turn off

I was making a donation to NPR, I mistakenly tapped pay monthly instead of pay amount one time, when I noticed the mistake I corrected it and continued to “pay” however the ApplePay template was stuck on “pay monthly”. So I now tried again to correct the problem however the template is frozen and I can’t delete it or turn off my MacBook Air. It now appears that Apple Pay has hacked my computer; pay or else???

Apple Pay doesn’t do website design or influence a companies design decisions. Please contact NPR support for assistance with your issue.

If you need to restart a computer, Press and hold down the Command (⌘) and Control (Ctrl) keys along with the power button (or the ‌Touch ID‌ / Eject button, depending on the Mac model) until the screen goes blank and the machine restarts.
