I've changed my appleid password 4 times in the last half hour because I can't sign in to my music. It is using and old email address that i changed years ago.

When you updated your email address did you use the methods in: Change your Apple ID - Apple Support ?
If not then you likely created a new account and you will need to sign in with the old one to get access to the things purchased with the old one.

Apple ID is using and old email address that I changed years ago
