Got a spam text in iMessage with Bold and Italic and Bold Italic text

Got this spam text as an sms from an 833 number. it is all text, not an image. There is bold and italic, a link and line spacing.

(I scribbled on a bunch of the text and removed some words and stuff I thought might get the post taken down)

anyone ever seen this?

There are different Unicode characters (see, fonts) that can be used in SMS, and this organization chose to utilize those, probably for emphasis. Your iPhone isn't broken.

Interesting! I didnt know that could be done in iMessage. Especially wouldn't think it would work when the text is coming from green bubble.
