Safari and BBC Videos

I find it almost impossible to access videos on the BBC website. Whenever I try to view a video related to one of their new items it always shows the video unavailable. Is it just me or is there an issues here with Safari?

I do seem to be able to view the videos using Firefox, but would prefer to use Safari as it is my main browse.

Any ideas?

Have you tried the advice here? - http://forums.adobe.com/thread/677450?decorator=print&displayFullThread=true - on amending flash's global storage settings? This worked for me.

Thanks for the info, it was Little Snitch causing the problem here too.

If you are using little snitch

Step1 turn it off (little Snitch) and check to see if the video on bbc works

If it does then turn it back on

and enable Plugin Process

I also have just encountered a similar problem - unable to watch BBC video, i also tried to watch video on the Telegraf website - still a problem. Any body any suggestions?

"I had the same problem and it turned out that I'd been over-aggressive with Little Snitch and had blocked WebKitPluginHost which stopped the videos playing in Safari. When I removed this rule, iPlayer started working again."

This is what fixed it for me.
