How to install HP scanner and view the operations in my Mac?

The HP 1315 printing option is not working already. Just the scanner. I want to use the scanner option that's connected to my old mac el capitan with an OS 10.11.6. How do I install or use HPs scanner and where will I view the scanner operations in this mac?
