sonoma 14.3.1 update and quickbooks 2019 for Mac

back in November when I did update to Sonoma my Quickbooks 2019 crashed. I had to go back to Ventura. I can not upgrade my Quickbooks because now they want a subscription. Is the Sonoma fixed

Will MacOS Monterey still be supported after November 2024, End of Life? I have a MacBook Pro 15 inch early 2016 that runs on MacOS Monterey. I received an email from University of California, saying I must upgrade my MacBook to MacOs Ventura, Sonoma, or Sequioa by November 2024 or buy a newer MacBook because MacOS Monterey End of Life is November 2024. That means Microsoft services, IMovies, Google Chrome will later end their support at this date just like they ended support with MacOS Big Sur on September 2023. This is unfair, MacOS Monterey is only 3 years old, Windows 7 lasted 14 years. Why does Apple keep making short lived MacOS that won’t live past age 3?

I have M2 Mac Studio with Ventura 13.6 and it keeps asking me if I should "upgrade" to Monterey. Every so often a bubble appears and says there is an update available and asks if I should "upgrade" to Monterey, but my computer came with Ventura (more recent than Monterey) and I have upgrade the Ventura to 13.6 and it still occasionally pops up.

It is not Apple's responsibility to bend the operating system to Quicken's product requirements, including subscription. Quickbooks 2019 crashed on Sonoma because it was not built by Quicken for use on Sonoma.

If you want the current QuickBooks for Mac that is supported on macOS Sonoma, your only option is now a subscription plan. Talk to Quicken.

You could try running an older version of macOS in a virtual machine, then run QuickBooks 2019 in the virtual machine.

UTM, Parallels, etc....
