iPhone 15 Locked to the Verizon Network

I bought an iPhone 15 from a local shop in Nigeria. I discovered that the phone is locked to the Verizon network and the next Tether policy is 2387. I have contacted Verizon, but they insist that they cannot unlock the device as there is no account for the iPhone. Please how do I resolve this issue?

You have done the right thing to contact Verizon. As you already know, your iPhone can only be unlocked by the cellular network that it is locked to. Your other option is to return the iPhone to the local shop that you purchased it from. Tell them that it is unusable.
