change location for "iBook" documents

Hi everybody,

following a software update to OS Sonoma, what can I do to find the location where the "iBook App" would store my docs ? A simple search command in the finder does not help: "~/Library/Containers/com.apple.BKAgentService/Data/Documents/iBooks" does not help

Where are locally stored iCloud Drive files kept? In the Finder, with the View option set to show the file path, all the files 'held' in the iCloud Drive are shown with their file paths emanating/rooted from the 'iCloud Drive' (ie they do not emanate/root from 'Macintosh HD') But, sometimes, some of those iCloud Drive files are also/still held locally somewhere on Macintosh HD. But there appears to be no way to get the Finder to display the 'Macintosh HD' file path for those files held on the iCloud Drive which are also held locally. One can disconnect from the internet and see if an iCloud Drive file is still available locally. But, if it is, how can the user show/discover where it is stored? Or, does MacOS Catalina onwards not have the ability to reveal where the local storage is for files held in the iCloud Drive?

Document folder disappeared from Ventura, only is on iCloud I've done plenty of searches of this problem. I'm on Ventura 13.2. In finder, there is no "preferences" option in the drop-down, only "settings". Documents was not, but now IS checked on the Finder sidebar settings after which I restarted finder and my mac, since the doc folder did not immediately, or ever, appear. I then read to go to apple system preferences - icloud. My apple dropdown is system settings, then I have to click on my apple id to get to a screen that has icloud. I'm told to disable Desktop & Documents within icloud. I did that, but was not given an option to keep a copy. How can I get a copy of the docs folder back on my mac?

Document folder empties after 12.7 Monterey update Yesterday my Mac desktop auto-updated to Monterey 12.7. Now when I go to Finder, my Documents folder is totally empty when I access it via Home or when I access it via iCloud. I had all my docs organized by subject folders inside Documents. It looks like all the documents ended up in Recents but there's no way for me to know for sure. In Finder, if I search on a Documents Folder name, the named folder comes up along with any documents including those search words. Is there any way I can get all my Document folders back in Finder under Documents where they were before Monterey update?
