Camera Lens Burned by Laser Light

Hey, folks.

I have a new iPhone 13 (base model), and I've been reading many articles about maintaining an iPhone to optimal health.

So far, one thing has bothered me: the circulating information that laser light can burn an iPhone camera.

If so this is true, CAN SOMEONE PROVIDE SUMMARIZED MEANS/WAYS as how to determine if the iPhone's camera lens is already burned or somehow affected by the laser light?

Please, this is alarming since I have green particles that show up in my back camera at night - and others might also relate to this issue (if it is or it's really just normal).

Refer to the photos below; the first circle is in yellow and the second arrow is in yellow. #Iphone #Camera #Laserlight

Hey Val!

This could be a laser-caused issue. Check the first link below to see if it lines up. Like the website says, "Indirect exposure to high-powered laser: May cause the lens coating to burn or discolour." It could be a lens coating to be damaged or interfered with. Those green spots may be caused by the light reflecting on the damaged parts of the lens. If it is an issue, I recommend getting the lens replaced. Check the second link for information about that!

Best of Luck!
