Issue with Siri not Recognizing Playlists on New MacBook Pro

I recently purchased the 2023 MacBook Pro and have encountered an issue with Siri not recognizing my playlists in the Apple Music app. Despite enabling the Music app in Siri search settings, Siri fails to identify any of my playlist names. I have attempted disabling all apps, restarting my computer, and then re-enabling them, followed by another restart, as suggested in various online forums. However, this did not resolve the issue. Additionally, my MacBook Pro is up to date with the latest software updates.

Hi,

Today I went to my local Genius Bar and they told me it is a common issue. Apple is fixing it (hopefully) but there is currently no solution. :(

I too have the same problem and have searched everywhere for an answer.

When I seek an answer, I always get one that references HomePod.

Please post if you find an answer and I shall, if I find one. I bought a Siri device for the sole purpose of playing my music in another room. My AirPlay is on with the appropriate room designated.

I use Alexa for everything else.
