Opening iphone 15 pro

Is it normal my 15 pro opens with just one tap? Normally phones open when you hold the power button for like 3 secs but in my 15 pro it opens with just one tap? Plus is it also normal that it lags when you first open it when it is shutdown? thanks in advance

Yes, it is normal when you tap on the screen of your iPhone 15 Pro OR press the Power button once and the iPhone turns ON. This is true when your iPhone is not OFF and in standby mode.

If you turn OFF your iPhone and then turn it back ON, then it may lag initially as it finishes the boot up process. This, however, does not last more than the first few minutes.

Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

Once the above procedure has been completed successfully, then check whether that has resolved the issue. If the issue persists, then take advantage of the 1YR Limited Warranty you have on your iPhone 15 Pro by contacting 👉 Official Apple Support OR you can always get your iPhone examined at the Apple Store 👉 Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options or at an Authorized Service Center for further diagnosis and evaluation.
