If you're experiencing issues with outgoing call barring on your iPhone 15 Pro Max, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

  1. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches. Turn off your iPhone, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
  2. Use the same SIM card on your friends phone and try calling.
  3. Update Carrier Settings:
    1. Go to Settings > General > About.
    2. If there is a carrier update available, you'll see a prompt to update. Follow the on-screen instructions to update your carrier settings.
  4. Ensure that your iPhone has a stable and active cellular network connection. You can try toggling Airplane mode on and off or restart the device to re-establish the connection.
  5. Reset Network Settings:
    1. In Settings, go to General > Reset.
    2. Choose "Reset Network Settings."
    3. Note that this will reset Wi-Fi passwords and other network-related settings.
  6. Even if the carrier initially said everything is okay, it's worth reaching out to them again. Provide specific details about the issue and ask if there are any known network problems in your area.
  7. If you have another SIM card, try inserting it into your phone and see if you can make outgoing calls. This can help isolate if the issue is with your phone or the SIM card itself.
  8. Remove and reinsert your SIM card. Make sure it's properly seated in the SIM tray.
  9. Factory Reset (as a Last Resort): If all else fails, you may consider performing a factory reset on your iPhone. Before doing this, make sure to back up your data.

Using the same SIM card in a different phone is a helpful step to further troubleshoot the issue. Here's how you can do it:

  1. Insert your SIM card into your friend's phone:
    1. Make sure your friend's phone is compatible with the same type of SIM card (nano, micro, or standard).
    2. Turn off both phones before swapping SIM cards.
  2. After inserting your SIM card, restart your friend's phone.
  3. Make an outgoing call:
    1. Attempt to make an outgoing call from your friend's phone using your SIM card.
    2. If the call goes through successfully, it suggests that the issue may be related to your iPhone.
  4. If the issue persists on your friend's phone, it's crucial information to share with your carrier. Inform them that you tested the SIM card on another device and the problem persists.

Remember to remove the SIM card from your friend's phone and insert it back into your iPhone once the test is complete. If the issue persists on both phones, it's likely a carrier-related problem that requires further investigation from their end.
