Wireless charging iPhone 13 Pro max

My phone charges wirelessly on my phone charger in my car. I recently got a case that’s supposed to be specifically magnet and wireless charging safe. I’ve had it for a few days and everything‘s fine. My heat was on very high in my car and my phone was sitting on the charger, which is located on the top vent in the center console, my phone overheated and shut off. Now refuses to charge on my car charger with the case on. wondering if I need to search for help with my phone, my charger or my case. If anyone else has also had this similar issue, please let me know. It’s only happened once.

As you already know, several factors have contributed to causing your iPhone to overheat. Those factors ranged form the ambient temperature, the case involved and the heat generated from charging. If these three factors remained the same, then the future result will also be the same. You cannot change the car and probably would like to continue to use your iPhone. You can, however, change the case and try charging wirelessly on the same charger.

For good measure: Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
