How to setup a new iMac?

New imac Trying to setup. At "Choose your country" Keyboard stops responding. Removed all interference items as suggested. Now sitting under the wifi. No difference.

iMac OS is at initial state on power on - no way to communicate with computer Just acquired a wiped and refreshed corporate A1419 27" iMac late 2013. The software (OS) shows only initial screen (country pull down list) at power on. I want to add new wireless keyboard, separate purchase and (unpaired). How do I "bootstrap" this so I can initiate bluetooth and pair the mouse and keyboard. I was told the OS is the latest that the Late 2013 iMac would support. Using an old iMac keyboard on a 2025 Macbook I picked up a 2025 M5 MacBook Pro the other day to replace my 2015 iMac (which is still running fine!), but the keyboard from my iMac will not work on it either standalone or in clamshell mode with the laptop plugged it. Will I need to pick up a newer keyboard?

Wired keyboard not recognized on Mac mini setup I just bought a Mac Mini and am unable to set up as the keyboard isn’t being recognized. Although, it is a wired keyboard. I have used an adapter from USB to USC, plugged in to USC port on front. Everything I have read says that the wired keyboard should work. Any suggestions? What am I doing wrong? Plug the keyboard into the iMac using the supplied charging cable.

It sounds like the wireless keyboard is not connected to the Mac, remember to turn on the keyboard (there is a on/off switch on the top) and if that does not work, please follow den.thed's instructions.
