How can I correct an iMaps misdirection?

Apple maps consistently misdirects customers from my wife's business to an address of a competing business. I am a computer scientist and know that address lookup and string matching are taught in the first weeks of CompSci 101, even before sorting. How can this screw up happen? Has anyone else experienced this misdirection and how quickly was it resolved?

Yes, I have. It is an emergency because the misdirection is to a competing business and we are getting wiped out. The reason I am posting here is to seek a faster solution - or even see if there is a loophole in the mapping software that allows a user to overload an address. This is a simple case of address lookup of a business with a given business license and a location. How in the world can there be a misdirection?

I did call as well. This forum is yet another option for me in case someone has encountered the same problem in the past. I am searching for a quick fix. How does a piece of software that does elementary, agnostic string matching and address lookup end up with an overloaded address? Business names are unique within the same city at the very least. If there is no matching address, it should simply say so - unless a hacker maliciously overloads the address. Anyway, Thank you.
