After updating my phone to ios 17.4 my battery seems to drain faster what should be the reason?

iPhone 13
I have finally found the reason for overheating and possibly also for unacceptable battery drain under 17.4.1 for my case (iPhone 13 Pro, 17.4.1). The culprit is "Require Attention for Face ID", "Attention-Aware Features" or perhaps both.
After one day of usage I can confirm that battery life is back to normal levels: about 10% drop in one hour screen-on browsing.
This means about 10 hours browsing time at modest screen brightness from a full charge, which is more or less what I was getting before "upgrading" to 17.4 (17.4.1) with my iPhone 13 Pro (now at at 92% battery health).
With "Require Attention for Face ID" and "Attention-Aware Features" ON, I get instead more than 20% drop per hour of browsing under otherwise the same conditions (connection, position, screen brightness, apps used, etc.)
I have the same problem! My phone glitched and then all of sudden would not charge changed out the cords 5 different times including the outlet. It wouldn’t charge past 1% now if i leave it charging for 8+ hours it doesnt even reach a full charge. I even checked my battery health it is at 87%

This is not new. After every update, apple’s battery health falls dramatically. Thats why I dont update unless necessary.
Correction: After every update, people think apple's battery health falls dramatically.
Where are the answers to these battery draining questions? This is absurd to not get any answers for these devices that people PAY FOR! Same thing is happening to my 13pro , the battery is draining within 4 hours when I’m not even using the phone. AND THE PHONE FEELS WARNER THAN NORMAL. Is Apple going to address this?
I have to recharge my 14 Pro Max twice a day now. This is unacceptable.
+1
I can confirm the problem (on iOS 17.4 with a 14 Pro and 98% maximum battery capacity).
Hello, jashom. I have the same problem on 15 pro, why didn't Apple fix it?, Last charging: 14:06 to 80% now: 17:40 71%. Its normal or...?
Same problem here, iPhone 12 Pro Max battery draining 88% went for outdoors run 20 min into run iPhone shuts off, turn back on and battery at 10%. Crazy, need some kind of fix.
i updated iOS 17.4 on my iPhone 14 Pro Max.My instagram stories had seen as zoomed what is the solution for this ?
iPhone 12 Pro Max and this draining problem is horrible. Using the phone for five minutes doing something non-intensive results in a 10% drop in battery. Absolutely ridiculous!
Our family have the same battery problem with several iPhone 14 pro phones. This must be corrected soon with an update.
Same thing happening after update eating battery like it had no food for 10 years
Same with my iphone 14 pro with battrey health 100 persen. I charge full at night, and loss battrey about 15 percent at morning. Nothing used . Same with my ipad mini 6 .
We have two IPads (Pro 12.9)with the same battery draining faster issue since the 17.4 update. I’ve tried all I know including erase all content and starting new. Any feedback will be appreciated.
Massive battery drain after 17.4 update, just lost 5% battery in just 5 minutes
I’m losing insane battery since update. Apple better test these updates more diligently before rolling out or I’m going back to Android. This is unacceptable at this price point.
