Birthdays in contacts incorrect. English date not availabke

After IOS 17.4 installed. In Contacts, add birthday,

the only option is Chinese, Hebrew or Jewish. No option for English.

There is no such thing as an "English Calendar."


It sounds as if you're going into Settings>Calendar>Alternate Calenders. That should be set to off unless you want to use either the Chinese, Hebrew, or Jewish calendars.


If you go to Settings>General>Language & Region, can you select the Gregorian calendar?
